According to recent studies, between 15-20% of the US population is neurodiverse — including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Many employees with these "invisible" disabilities can improve their productivity and feel more comfortable at work with the right accommodations. With accommodations requests on the rise, it's important for HR teams to understand the needs of neurodiverse employees, their rights under the ADA, and the cost and benefits of providing accommodations.

In this webinar, we will be joined by Neurodiversity Trainer and Author Lizzie Somerfield to explore the ins and outs of ADHD and ASD in the workplace, and the benefits of hiring and retaining neurodiverse employees. We will also review the ADA interactive process and provide examples of potential job accommodations.

Watch to learn:

  • How ASD and ADHD show up in the workplace
  • Employer responsibilities for accommodating ASD and ADHD under the ADA
  • Strategies for accommodating neurodiverse employees
  • Best practices for a streamlined, equitable, and supportive interactive process
